Olivia founded Chloe Standard, Inc. in January 2009. The genesis of the company was spawned by a desire to share in the actuality of building a solution to pet microchip problems that are of great concern to pet owners like herself. Having developed innovative solutions for other technology start-up companies in Silicon Valley and non-profit organizations, Olivia applied her creativity to an area close to her heart -- the wellness of companion animals.

Olivia has dedicated hundreds of volunteer hours in planning and strategy to Bay Area non-profit organizations that focus on saving shelter animals from euthanasia. While most realize that pet overpopulation and a lack of shelter space is a deadly mix, Olivia continues to work on finding a better, easier, more efficient solution to manage the overpopulation of animals. Through this dedicated work, Olivia has incorporated her understanding of the shelter struggle into the vision of Chloe Standard's products and services.

Olivia graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 2005. She attended the University as a scholar under the prestigious Karl S. Pister Leadership Scholarship program that honors students who have made a demonstrated commitment to assisting and improving the lives of others in their community.
